The following links are highly recommended if you wish to learn more about the world described in my photoblog. Every site will show you new techniques and offer access to people who will help you learn the Catch & Release methods featured in my articles. The rewards of time spent along the waterways with family and friends are many. Good Luck in all your efforts and remember to bring a camera with you!!!
| KenRockwell.com | This site is run by Mr. Rockwell to educate people about the Nikon product line. The first question that comes to mind is, "Does Nikon pay this guy to say great things about their products?" The answer is an unequivacable "No". Since his income is derived from the site advertising it allows him to be perfectly frank in his opinions. If he likes it, he tells you why. If he doesn't like it he breaks it down completely and allows you to draw your own conclusions. Very refreshing!
Here is the kicker: The site is LOADED with photography tips, shortcuts, tutorials, reviews, technical breakdowns, and even gives links to purchase products cheaply. If you use a non-Nikon product you will still find how-to's on cleaning sensors or using bounce flashes, or the like. I rate this site very highly as a source of knowledge, inspiration, and technique that is certain to make you a better photographer!

 | The American Carp Society website is sure to impress. It is easy to navigate and just simply stuffed with all the knowledge an aspiring carper would need to become involved in the sport. You must join the ACS to use their forum but the return on your investment will make the yearly fee manageable.
This website is quickly becoming the hub of the American carp scene. As such you will be able to link to many other sites both here and abroad as you continue your searches. I highly recommend this site!

 | The Carp Anglers Group is a nationally based carp fishing club with International ties all over the world. As such you will access to a staggering amount of accumulated knowledge and stories that are sure to fire your imagination! The cost of joining CAG is $25 per year and allows you to compete in nationally staged fish-ins as well as receive a quarterly carp fishing magazine, discounts at numerous online tackle stores, and more. A word to the wise: The CAG forum is a tremendous asset to any person looking to interact with the group..... Like Momma always said, "Make sure you look both ways before you cross the street." Not all people use the forum to discuss carp fishing.
